We’ve sorted an amazing range of drinks for you to enjoy either with a meal or simply on their own. Our very own range of Badger Beers are only sold in Hall & Woodhouse pubs, so we can guarantee the very best quality cask and bottled ales brewed right in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Alongside our beers we also have a comprehensive selection of lagers and ciders, together with an extensive wine list, with wines from all around the World and an ever increasing range of spirits, particularly local and regional gins.

It was deep in Dorset’s rolling hills and patchwork fields, in 1777, that local farmer Charles Hall brewed our first beer. A union of the Hall & Woodhouse families soon followed and the story of Badger beer had begun.
To create the distinctive character of our delicious Badger beers, we combine hops and malted barley with pure spring water which has been filtered naturally through the Cretaceous chalk downs of Dorset. Our comprehensive range of cask and bottled beers, all with distinctive characters, are available throughout the year, although our offering does vary seasonally.

The Godfather of all of our beers. A deceptively drinkable and multi award winning golden ale. Finest English Flagon barley, Goldings and Challenger hops deliver balanced flavours of crisp and subtle hop, with a delicate pear drop aroma.
THE FURSTY FERRET
Cask 4.1% ABV
Bottle 4.4% ABV
A morishly malty, amber ale. Dark crystal malt delivers a full bodied biscuity taste, rounded off with a subtle floral and lemon hop aroma.
Cask 3.7% ABV
Inspired and developed with the hop growers and merchants Charles Faram, the Celeia, Bobek and Dana hops provide a refreshing flavour that is both thirst-quenching and characterful. The hops are added in the brew house and dry hopped in the fermentation vessel, to ensure this classic beer retains its character to the last drop.
THE WICKED WYVERN
Draught 5.0% ABV
This West Coast style IPA is brewed with Amarillo, Cascade and Mosaic hops. The beer has a flaring deep bronze colour and a citrus aroma of zesty grapefruit with a bitter hop character and a dry hoppy finish. A wonderfully refreshing and well-balanced beer.
THE HOPPING HARE
Bottle 4.4% ABV
A refreshingly light, hoppy pale ale. A marriage of aromatic citrus American Amarillo and Cascade hops and the finest English Flagon barley.

THE GOLDEN CHAMPION

A light golden ale with floral hints of elderflower. Light and refreshing, providing a crisp taste of summer.
THE BLANDFORD FLY
Bottle 5.2% ABV
A uniquely sweet and spicy golden ale with a refreshingly different ginger taste, which is offset with hints of sweet toffee.

THE CRANBORNE POACHER

A bold, fruity, ruby ale. Crystal and chocolate malts provide a full bodied taste with sweet and complex flavours of damson and liquorice.

Gin is, at its simplest, a spirit flavoured with a variety of botanicals, with the predominant flavour being juniper which has been used for more than 1,000 years as a medicine to treat rheumatism, arthritis and gout. Each gin has its own unique balance of botanicals creating a varied range of flavours. We’ve selected a wide range of great gins for your next visit, whilst our gin range may vary throughout the year, rest assured they’ll always be plenty of choice and you’re guaranteed to find one to your taste.
Brooklyn Gin – 40% ABV
Brooklyn Gin is a vibrant gin from New York, made by using ‘hand-cracked’ juniper and fresh citrus peels (rather than frozen or dried peels). With big, well-rounded notes of citrus at its core, this gin also works excellently in fruit flavoured, lip-smacking cocktails.
Dorset Conker – 40% ABV
Produced in Dorset's first gin distillery, Conker Gin is distilled in 30 litre copper pot stills using a combination of 10 traditional and local botanicals. With New Forest spring water, the local botanicals include New Forest gorse flowers, elderberries and samphire to contribute sweet, fresh and bitter elements to the gin.
Hendrick’s – 41.4% ABV
Launched in 1999, Hendrick's is a popular and widely available Scottish gin. It is notable for its use of rose petals and cucumber alongside traditional botanicals and for blending two separate spirits - one created in a small pot still and another in a carter-head still in order to extract the different flavours of the different botanicals.
Langley’s No 8 – 41.7% ABV
Langley’s No.8 is distilled a single time in an English-made pot still. It is made of 100% English grain spirit and classic gin botanicals from indigenous regions including angelica root, ground nutmeg, cassia bark and cloves.
London No. 1 – 47% ABV
One of a handful of gins actually distilled in London, London No.1 was created to echo the complex and full bodied gins of yesteryear, albeit with a modern twist. The striking turquoise-blue colour is derived from maceration with gardenia flowers.
Martin Miller – 40% ABV
Launched in 1999, Martin Miller's Gin starts life at Langley's Distillery near Birmingham, before setting off on a 3,000 mile round trip to Iceland and back. The reason being to use only the purest water. The man behind the gin, Martin Miller, passed away in December 2013 and was successful in photography, publishing and the hotel industry too.
Silent Pool - 43% ABV
Silent Pool Gin is distilled on a former farm site on the Albury Estate in Surrey. As well as using water from the spring-fed Silent Pool pond next to the distillery, from which the gin takes its name and the colour of its bottle, it features 24 botanicals. These include chamomile, rose, elderflower, Kaffir lime leaf, pear, bergamot and local honey.
Sipsmith - 41.6% ABV
The Sipsmith distillery is based in West London and boasts the first copper pot still to be installed and used in London for 200 years at the time (which they named Prudence). It's the distillery that helped spearhead the London gin revival with its dry, zesty London Dry gin that's increasingly popular in pubs and bars across the country.
Tanqueray 10 - 47.3% ABV
Launched in 2000, Tanqueray Ten gin is the premium gin produced by the well-known British Gin brand Tanqueray. In a 2-stage distillation the botanicals include fresh, whole citrus, giving it a crisp, full bodied flavour with grapefruit and lime being notable on the palate. Tanqueray Ten is the only gin to feature in the World Spirits Competition ‘Hall of Fame’ after three top prize victories
Tanqueray – 43.1% ABV
Gin has a long and fascinating history and is in the top 10 highest selling gins in the world. Charles Tanqueray opened the original distillery in the 1830's in London, which was later destroyed by air raids during WWII and production now takes place in Scotland. The recipe (with just 4 botanicals) has been kept a secret and the same recipe has been used since the gin's conception.

0.0% is a balanced thirst-quencher with refreshing fruity notes and a soft malty body in a classic North European style.
Rosé, Spanish (250ml)
Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented and macerated. Pairs perfectly with traditional tapas, sausages and cured meats, as well as vegetable dishes and pasta.
Seedlip Garden 108 with tonic
A floral blend of hand-picked peas, hay, spearmint, rosemary and thyme. Best served with Indian tonic water. Why 108? It takes 108 days to grow peas.
Seedlip Spice 94 with tonic
A complex aromatic blend of Jamaican allspice berry & cardamom distillates with two barks and a bright citrus peel finish. Best served with Indian tonic water. Why 94? In 1494 Columbus encountered the allspice berries of what we now know as Jamaica.

Big Tom Spicy Tomato Juice
Fine Portuguese tomato juice delicately blended with herbs and spices. A tomato is actually a fruit but we don’t put it in our fruit salad.

The gentle bitterness of angostura bark blended with aromatic botanicals such as cardamom, pimento berry and ginger. Enhances juniperrich and robust gin. Or try it as a sophisticated drink on its own.
Fever-Tree Indian (and Light)
Botanical oils blended with spring water and quinine from the fever-trees of the Eastern Congo. Makes the best gins or vodkas even better.
Coastal Spring Still and Sparkling
Our delicious ‘Rocket Espresso’ comes from our friends at Extract Coffee Roasters and is the perfect combination of great coffee and good ethics. The special blend comprises 100% Arabica coffee beans from a single farm in Colombia and a co-operative project in Peru, which works to directly benefit the families and communities involved. The result of this is a naturally sweet and full-bodied coffee with notes of chocolate and caramel to finish.
